Often times the best gifts are ones that are made and not bought. And since I have not one crafty bone in body, gifts from the kitchen it is! (Not everyone has the time to make thoughtful gifts, so if you aren’t Martha – here are my foodie gift guide & health obsessed guides.)

Last year, I made little gift bags full of cookies and treats, Citrus Salt, Pineapple Infused Vodka and fun vinegars and olive oils. I hope my friends and family enjoy this years gifts just as much as they did last year!

Here are some of my favorite ideas for homemade gifts this year!

Citrus Salt

Pineapple Vodka (need to start this now, it takes a few weeks!)

Lime or Lemon Cookies

Rosemary Olive Oil

Salted Maple Caramel Sauce

Lavender Bath Salts

I’m making homemade maple pecan butter for some friends and family this year. I agree – I don’t have one crafty bone in my body either.

The salted Caramel Sauce sounds so good!

Last year I put holiday themed candy into ball jars and used ribbon and festive material to deocrate the jars. I then handed them out to my co-workers and everyone seemed to really like them :) Very easy to make!

I just read an article in some magazine . . . maybe Eating Well or Vegetarian Times? Anyhow, the article was about homemade gifts, and it had wonderful recipes for seasoned nuts!

I just thought of that today – we were at a German Holiday Market and they had all of those roasted nuts that smell so good. My mom gives away her curried pecans (amazing) every year, I can’t believe I forgot them!
