Can you tell me how much Almond butter is too much per day. I eat 4 Tbsp per day in a shake I make to gain the weight I lost from my Acid Reflux problem. Is 4 tbsp’s too much or can I continue what I’m consuming?

Hi Richard – Thanks for visiting. That is a great question! Now I must warn you that I’m not your conventional Nutritionist though! I think that almond butter is a great way to get some extra calories and healthy fats if that is what you need. Some may think that is too much fat, but if you are trying to gain weight (and even if you are not) almond butter has a great ratio of fats, proteins and carbohydrates. I love almond butter in smoothies with banana, almond milk and some chocolate brown rice protein party. Yum! :)
I hope that helps!

Thinking about you during this time, I dropped off some stuff today at a local church that is shipping stuff off to Haiti. I know you must me worried to death about the people you cared for while over there.
Love the blog…

Hey Em,
I stumbled upon your blog after looking at the new Camp Endeavor website so I thought I’d comment. Just so know…my roommate has gone vegan so I now eat French Meadow products. I think of you every time I at their bread :-) Hopefully I will see you around camp this summer…I plan on visiting a lot :-)
