boston

by anutritionisteats on June 23, 2010

Last weekend the taster and I spent an amazing few days in Boston. That is what I love about vacation. It doesn’t matter where I am or what I’m doing, but bumming around a city, soaking up whatever I can, is my idea of a perfection.

I hadn’t been to Boston in a few years and complete with the tasters love for history we managed to squeeze in a trip to a museum, a history tour, a baseball game, a wedding, seeing both sides of our families and of course, a lot of delicious food.

First time having pho, and now officially addicted. Any Minneapolis recommendations for me?

Kennedy Library Museum

Seafood, Seafood, Seafood

Red Sox Game

Many trips to Dunkin Donuts.

Your boys Patty! :)

And a beautiful wedding to top things off!

Great photos! I lived in Boston last year.. and as you can tell by the fact that I moved back, I like Minneapolis better ;) but traveling there for a week or so is just the right amount of east coast for me.

Next time you’re in the bean town, you gotta go to Pho & I for pho, and JP LICKS for heaven. In Minneapolis, my favorite pick for pho is at Quang’s on Eat Street.

You packed in a lot of fun things on your trip to Boston. I agree, bumming around a city is the fun of vacation.

It looks like you had a great time. I have not yet had Pho, and I’ve been dying to try it. I guess I keep looking for the perfect place to have it, but maybe I just gotta go out there and try it!

I love Boston and miss it! My work HQ used to be there so I’d travel to Boston quite a bit and bring some cannoli home from Mike’s Pastry :)

We’re so lucky here in Boston! So many yummy places to eat. Especially Mikes! I only let myself go to the North End once in a while because those pastries are addictive.
